How does Aibuild OS repair a mesh?

Attach the scan and say what you need. Aibuild OS works out which operations the file needs, runs them in the software directly, and returns the file with a record of what changed.

Which CAD software does Aibuild OS work with?

Aibuild OS operates multiple engineering softwares, including Blender, Autodesk Fusion, Rhino, FreeCAD and MeshLab, with the list expanding continuously.

A cleaned mesh.

Watertight and manifold, at the triangle count you set. PLY, STL, OBJ, 3MF or the tool's native format.

A record of what changed.

Which operations ran, and where the file needed a decision.

A rework report if it cannot finish.

Where it stopped and why, rather than something that looks finished.

Watch a point cloud become a clean mesh with Aibuild OS.

Aibuild OS has the choice of the latest AI models from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and other providers.

Who approves the end result?

Your engineer. Nothing moves into your PDM system, to a supplier or onto a machine until a named reviewer approves it.

Is Aibuild OS secure?

Aibuild Limited is ISO 27001 certified and available as an on-premise deployment for enterprise manufacturing environments. Drawings and derived geometry and all IP stay inside your own infrastructure.

FAQ

Can AI repair a scanned mesh automatically?

Yes. Aibuild OS runs hole filling, manifold repair, normal correction, debris removal and decimation on scan data, in the mesh software you already use, and returns a watertight file for an engineer to approve.

How do you convert a point cloud to a solid model?

Two routes. Reconstruct and clean the mesh, then convert to a solid: useful for measurement, clearance and printing, but with no feature tree. Or use the cleaned mesh as reference and rebuild parametrically in your own CAD.

Do other Aibuild OS users have access to my scan data?

No, your data and IP stay within your organisation and is never shared with or made accessible to other organisations.
