Aibuild is a fast-growing, London based software company, that is transforming the Additive Manufacturing industry on a global scale. We are on a mission to make manufacturing efficient by accelerating the transition towards factories of the future that are cloud-connected, autonomous and primarily additive.

We work with tier 1 companies in the aerospace, automotive, construction, energy and marine industries. Aibuild was founded on the premise that, for large format AM to scale, ‘trial and error’ manual processes, long build time and failed build rates needed to be addressed.

Daghan Cam is the Co-founder and CEO of Aibuild. Before founding the company Daghan worked as an architect at Zaha Hadid Architects and lectured at University College London and internationally on the topics of computational geometry, robotics and additive manufacturing.

Michail Desyllas

Michail Desyllas

Cofounder / COO

Michail Desyllas is the Co-founder and COO of Aibuild. Before founding the company Michail worked for Zaha Hadid Architects as Project Associate and Lead Designer where he has been involved in international projects of various scales, from airports to cultural centres and product design.

Aibuild was founded in 2015 by Daghan and Michail, former architects at Zaha Hadid, who have a background in computational geometry and a passion for additive manufacturing.

They identified significant potential in large format additive manufacturing, despite its limitations due to manual processes and high failure rates. To address these challenges, they utilized their geometric problem-solving skills to develop a unique, parametric and data-driven software solution. Over the past decade, they have refined their algorithms by physically creating complex and innovative builds in their own R&D space in East London, the Ailab.

Today, Aibuild software is used by some of the world’s largest organizations to increase the efficiency of their additive manufacturing processes. With a growing global network of clients and partners, Ai Build continues to innovate and realize the founders’ vision for autonomous additive factories.
